Panel Leader Sol d'Oro International Competition

Expert taster, professor of sensory analysis and panel leader for the most important international extra virgin olive oil competitions, Marino Giorgetti has been the technical director of the Sol d'Oro International Competition since the first edition 20 years ago. Marino travels the world as a business consultant for improving the quality of extra virgin olive oils, is a tasting panel trainer and has written numerous publications on extra virgin olive oil.

Giulio Scatolini

In 1997 under his leadership, the Aprol Perugia panel became the first of a producers association in the world to receive COI recognition. In 2007 the Ministry of Agriculture recognized him as panel leader of the Unaprol tasting group. Since 2011 he has been chief external panel consultant of the Gambero Rosso Oil Guide. Speaker at various conferences on the sensorial analysis of virgin olive oils, he has been a juror of the Sol d'Oro competition since the first edition.

Dr. Laroussi is a trainer and panel leader for Olea Conseils and SGS Tunisia. She is an engineer and holds a master's degree in food quality and a doctorate in analytical chemistry and chemometrics. In her research work she focused on the valorization of biodiversity and the traceability of virgin olive oil. You have published several scientific works on Tunisian olive oil. You are currently responsible for the Olea Conseils company, specialized in training, sensorial analysis of table olives and virgin olive oil, and assistance to producers.

Ernest Kante

In 2014 he obtained the qualification of panel leader and since 2015 he has been head of a professional panel, based in Nova Gorica (Slovenia). He participates in numerous international training courses on extra virgin olive oil and helps improve the production of the best extra virgin olive oils in Slovenia.

Professional taster and founder of an oil import company in China, she is dedicated to the promotion of quality extra virgin olive oil with seminars and tastings at international fairs (such as the first CIIE China International Import Expo) involving producers, consumers and chefs as well as also concentrating collaborations with exclusive restaurants to promote the combination with the ingredients of Chinese cuisine.

Anunciacion Carpio

Milena Bucar Miklavcic

President of the "Slovenian National Olive Council" she is responsible for the Chemical Laboratory of the "Science and Research Center" of Koper where she conducts numerous research projects in the field of oils as well as being the local panel leader as well as the "National Slovenian Panel". Miciyo Yamada
